1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using DocHouse ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DocHouse is an AI-powered document scanner and organizer. It allows users to scan physical documents, extract text using on-device OCR and AI models, and securely back up document images to their personal Google Drive accounts.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use DocHouse responsibly and legally. Specifically, you agree that:

  • You will only scan and store documents that you have the legal right to possess and process.
  • You will not use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your Google account and the documents stored within your Google Drive.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device secure, including utilizing the App's biometric lock features if desired.

4. Data Ownership and Storage

We do not claim ownership of any documents you scan. All document images are uploaded directly to your personal Google Drive (appDataFolder) and are never stored on our servers. You retain full rights and ownership of your data.

5. Intellectual Property

The DocHouse App, including its original content, features, functionality, and design, are owned by Apple Perfection and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

DocHouse is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy of the AI extraction, OCR text recognition, or the uninterrupted availability of the service. In no event shall DocHouse or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data or profits, resulting from your use of the App.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time. Instructions for data deletion are available on our Account Deletion page.
